What are your reoccuring dreams and what do they mean?
I have vivid dreams at night. My grandma and my mom both have vivid dreams, so I am guessing I was lucky enough to have that special gene passed down to ME!
So last night, I have a dream about having another baby. (I have 2 kids right now) It was as vivid as they come. I actually felt like I could feel the baby coming out, I held him, cried, did everything you do after having a baby. Then, I woke up! And I was so sad because I really felt like the dream I was having, was real!
So my question is, WHY do I dream like this and WHAT does it mean? What are your reoccuring dreams?

Re: What are your reoccuring dreams and what do they mean?
My guess is that you are going through some sort of huge transition right now. "giving birth" metaphorically. Unless you really have been discussing having more kids.
My dreams, when I remember them, are amazingly vivid, some with smells. And I alternate between being a narrator (sort of like watching a movie) and being "in" my dreams. Oh, and I'm not always myself in my dreams. Sometimes I'm younger or much older. Occasionally, I'm male.
My DH thinks I'm really weird. He almost never remembers his dreams.

How funny you wrote about this because I am doing a post on my personal blog about this very subject this week.
I, too am a very vivid dreamer. My most reoccuring dream (about 5 X week) is I am back in college in my final semester and realize I have forgotten to attend class the entire semester. It is the same freak-out, stressfest every stinkin' time. Evidently, I need therapy.

Re: What are your reoccuring dreams and what do they mean?
*pulls out my personal copy of The Complete Dream Book* Ok, quoting from the book, ahem... "When the birth in a dream does not pertain to a real pregnancy, the meaning is most often related to a change in the dreamer's life. Birth is symbolic of new beginnings, such as opening a new chapter in your life or launching a creative endeavor". It's a great book for deciphering dreams, if you have any interest in it.
I used to have dreams of trying to call someone and I could never dial the right numbers so I'd have to hang up and start again. Turns out I dream this when I am having trouble communicating with someone and feel like I'm not being heard so I start again and try to re-explain how I feel.
Also, when I was preggy with my son I used to have these dreams where I had a zipper on the side of my tummy and I would take him out and hold him, look at him, and in my dreams he was even dressed in cute baby outfits and then I'd think "Oh wait, it's not time for you yet!" and then I'd gently tuck him back inside and zip my tummy up again. *LOL* Turns out I ended up having a Cesarean and when baby was born...it was a boy! My son loves it when I tell him that story!

Hey recurring dreams are simply trying to get something across to you about some part of your life. Dreams are metaphors for things taking place in your life.
