The Colorado State Library offers a friendly but quiet work environment (high drama is noticeably absent). The position involves stable, part-time work with consistent hours (10-2), and varied tasks throughout the year. The person in this position will provide support to two offices, including several staff members in remote locations. Details can be viewed on the formal job description linked below. Comfort with technology and communication tools is considered a key part of the job of supporting our offices. Knowledge of library jargon is not required, but a person hired into this role can expect overexposure to plenty of acronyms.
