Mama's Whipped Shortbread Cookie Recipe

I added a new cookie to my Christmas baking this year and have had several requests for the recipe. So, here it is!

Mom's Whipped Shortbread

1 lbs butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt

Beat in mix master on medium speed for 10 minutes until fluffy. Drop a teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. I topped mine with little pieces of Maraschino cherries. Bake at 350 for 7-10 min until lightly browned on the bottom. Easy and sooooo delicious!
